Thinking about things I like...

I am sitting here on the sofa, when I should be doing other things (laundry), trying not to blow my brains out through my nose, because that is what it feels like, thinking about the things I like.  Like...



My Facebook friends, they make me laugh and sometimes cry, I don't know 90% of them personally but most of us connect on some kind of level (usually the hotness of the Sparkly One and Fan Fic).  Facebook is such a time suck though, you get lost in it and then you look at the clock and it has been like 2 hours you have lost.  When Mark Zuckerberg came up with Facebook do you think he realized how much time people really spend on here.  I have it on my lappy, my itouch, my Ipad and my mobile phone.  Wow I think I am kind of addicted.  Do people really care that you are in a bar on 6th street getting drunk off your ass on a Wednesday night, heck I don't know maybe.



As you all know I love to read and listening to a book brings better visuals to my brain.  Right now I am reading or rather listening to Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margret Stohl.  This book is very visual when you just read it but listening to it brings a whole other dimension, there is music in the background,  sound effects and so on.  Its like one of those old radio programs from the 40's.  If you have never listen to an audiobook before do it.


 I also like to cook but not just your normal everyday dinners, I love to try new things and explore different tastes but my family is the opposite of me and if I want them to eat I need to make everyday boring dinners, blah, blah, blah.  I do love to bake to and they support me in that of course especially the Z-man he will try anything once and he will tell you the truth about whether he likes it or not. You know that scene in the movie Michael with John Travolta and Andie MacDowell where she sings about pie, well I am passionate about pie.  whether it be fruit or cream I can't pass up pie, so I am making myself learn how to make different pies and make the crust too (well maybe not) but definitely the fillings for said pies.

Well enough of my lazy, procrastinating ramblings, I have other shizz to do.  Like look at last nights Rob Porn from the PCA's everybody was talking about how he looked bad, I didn't think so and also I am secure in my Femininity I can throughly say that Kristen looked hot and oh geeze would I love to have those legs.

One more thing, to all of my "readers", and I say that loosely, who only come to my blog to check out my July postings of hot guys in uniform or my Calvin Klein underwear post, please read other things I post, I am beginning to think you are only here for the man candy, I do have other things to say you know.

My goals and Tasks for the weekend

Many of you know that I am in the process of trying to change things in my life for the better and in order to do that I need Schedules, to-do lists, goals and tasks written out to follow or I am not going to adhere to it and fall into the chasm that I fell into last year which was fear, self loathing, denial and sadness.  So I am turning over an new leaf to get myself organized and control back over my life and not let all the crap take over again.  This weekend will be a weekend of organization, reorganization, cleaning, de-cluttering, schedule, goal and task making and planning for my future.  Whew that is a lot of things to get done this weekend, I will try to get most of those things done but I do know one thing, they won't get done if I get sucked into all the lovely activities on my laptop (twitter, Facebook, Fan Fiction, Rob news, etc) so after this post I am closing my laptop today even though there are about 25 fan fiction updates in my inbox begging to be read.  Ok I won't think about them, yeah right.  I am off now to accomplish some of what I have set out to do today, wish me luck

All I can say is that the Vanity Fair photos own me and they keep coming.  I can say the outtakes are better than the ones they put in the magazine.

New Moon State of Mind

I am listening to the soundtrack and later tonight I am joining in a podcast at Kim's that is New Moon Centric.  I have our plans in the works for our festivities on Thursday.  Jen finally found her shirt in fact she found two at Hot Topic no less so I think everyone is ready to go.  My Embargo is still intact, I am proud to say, I have stayed away from all new clips and sneak previews I even change the channel when the trailer comes on just so I don't see any new footage.  I know I am silly, but I want to be surprised when I see it and not know what is coming next.  Of course I have seen the interviews and all of the yummy pictures of Rob especially the scruffy ones from Italy.  I even listened to some of the live stream of the fandoms webcast yesterday and I thought Charles Bewley, who plays Dimitri was a cutie.

Plus he is British and you know what that accent does to me.  He had a great sense of humor and took all the question in stride even the marriage proposals. 

It turned chilly here over night which I am kind of glad, I am ready for cooler weather, not downright cold but cooler, 40's and 50's are good for the winter. I mean most of our leaves are still on our trees and we are a week and a half away from Thanksgiving.  Speaking of Thanksgiving I will post another recipe today since that has been a total fail lately but with the sick kids and the house being a wreck things are falling by the wayside.

Being Inundated

I am on a caffeine high tonight so no telling what you are going to get tonight. So I need to tell you that my New Moon Embargo is still securely intact but my will power is wavering because there has just been too much to see and I have been inundated with it by Twitter and Facebook. I must resist, I must resist. But I will show you pics of Rob in Paris they don't go against my embargo.

And in light of the new pics of Robsten this evening, Peter Facinelli IS a genius oh and Kristen's boots were Fabulous, I want them.

I had an IM chat with the girls this evening and we were discussing what we were going to be doing for the midnight showing of New Moon and trying to get all of our ducks in a row. We are Tailgating in Kim's van and wearing PJ's and newly acquired New Moon/Twilight Centric T-shirts. Lots of Coffee and snacks and contraband to ping all the tween fangirls in the head every time the squee. Am I forgetting anything girls if I am let me know.

So back to my Caffeine high (gawd I am so wired right now, I am twitchy). The Z man had tummy troubles last night and was up half the night and I needed a pick me up tonight to make it through until bed. I am just glad that it was a short tummy trouble event and he will be back at school tomorrow. So until tomorrow homies (ok I can't do ghetto speak).

Today is Friday my lovelies and I am sitting here on the sofa drinking my daily cup of coffee with my peppermint mocha creamer and reflecting over the week and let me tell you I really got nothing accomplished this week except for laundry and it is not all folded so that's not even done all the way. I relish the thought that I spend too much time on the computer and not enough time doing anything else. My laptop could be permanently attached to my lap because that is where it stays most of the time. Between Facebook, twitter, Fan Fiction and looking at Rob Porn I really spend too much time on the internet but really what else would I really want to do with my time, oh yes there is shopping for purses, shoes and clothes, home accessories, browsing Itunes(which is an addiction all unto itself. Speaking of shoes and purses, I am trying to find the perfect boots for fall and winter what do you think about these.






Yep my time is consumed by scrounging the internet for for all these things, I can't help it, it is what I do, plus you get the benefit of looking at them on here and don't need to search for them. Lovely huh.

Mondays...weekend recap

Good Morning everyone, I hope your week is starting out great. Mine could be better but I will try to look on the brightside of things for now. 1. It is a beautiful fall day here in Central Texas, nice and cool, clear blue sky, 2. The kids are out of the house today so it is quiet here after an eventful and loud weekend 3. Today is my Hubby's birthday, Happy Birthday Love, your older than I am, ha ha and finally 4. Did you see the Vanity Fair photos of my Crush, Rob could you get any sexier, they made my weekend.







I would also like to say congrats to UT on a stellar win against the OSU Cowboys, it was a fantastic game, keep it up and YOU COULD GO ALL THE WAY!!!!

The kids had a great time trick or treating this weekend and ran around like banshees because of the sugar high until about 11 that night and then proceeded to wake up at the crack of dawn because of the time change and yesterday seemed like the longest day ever, I thought it was never going to end and then I couldn't fall asleep so really it didn't end for me, but I slept in a little this morning. I will post again later today with a Thanksgiving recipe, It will be a turkey one, starting with main dishes this week. Talk to ya'll later

Sick Again and other stuff...

How many times can one person get sick in a month? Someone enlighten me, I would really appreciate it because it is getting ri-fucking-diculous. I am going to the doctor tomorrow so maybe I will start feeling better soon. I woke up Sunday the a horrible sore throat and cough and then I realized I couldn't talk (husband lets out victory squee, no nagging today). Today I have felt a little better but still no voice. Ok I am going to stop complaining now.

The weekend was good,except for me ending up sick, I downloaded the New Moon soundtrack from Itunes and most of it is good, there are a few song on there where I say WTF but I guess I will just need to wait and see how they go with the movie. Which is now 31 days away, woo hoo, can't wait.

I saw The Haunted Airman this weekend with the girls and I have to say it was a weird movie, lots of Rob though so that got me through it, he had nice hair. It had spiders in it and I absolutely hate spiders so that turned me off too. Thought is would fill my Rob quota but sadly it did not. Might need to go watch a few episodes of The Bad Mother's Handbook, to get my fill, I can always work with nerdy Rob better than Psycho Rob.

Rain, Rain Go Away...

I know we need the rain here but it has been cloudy and depressing all week and I want to see the sun, maybe it will improve my mood. I have been down in the dumps all week plus being sick so with all of my down time I have been doing some soul searching and I am realizing that I am not happy with the direction my life is going. I need something new, something different, but I have no clue as to what that is, so I do what I do best and hide, yes you can imagine me cowering in my bed hiding under the covers waiting for this to pass because I fear where it will take me. I am not always the bitchy, snark of a girl everyone sees, no, I am a self conscious, doubting girl underneath it all, wishing I had all the confidence to go out and pursue something new. I am working on it though, I am researching and taking notes in my head of things that I would like to do and I have several things in my head, what I do know though is that I don't like to sit in a classroom and sit for hours on end, I want something hands on, so now I sit and wonder what that will be and hope and pray that it will be good for me.

Now for lighter subjects, I have also been reading lots this week and have come across some great FF stories: Mood Ring
is a Jasper/Bella pairing it is really angsty in the beginning but gets better.
House of the Rising Sun is a Edward/Bella pairing and it is different than the usual, Edward has a rare genetic disease and Bella is trying to help him with it. It is also full of Angst and starts out with Bella and Jacob as a couple. As you can see I have been full of Angst this week so what I read goes with my moods.

Hope the rest of your Sunday is bright and shiny, I am staying in my PJ's and curled up on the sofa with my laptop in my lap waiting for the rain to come to an end, you all might need to send in an ark later if it doesn't stop, I will keep you all informed.
