Duck Tours
Seattle
After having a great experience taking the Duck Tour in Boston, MA, I insisted that we gals take to the tour in Seattle. I'm so glad we did!
We drove in from the Peninsula (Forks) and headed to the tour. Arriving 30 minutes early as they asked we sat and relaxed in the beautiful weather excited for our Seattle experience. The time came and we loaded up on the amphibious vehicle. Unfortunately there was a pack of young girls armed with quackers for a birthday party. We did not let them ruin our time.
Since we were the first ones on Shannon, Jen and I each got a window seat. I suggest doing this if you can.
Our driver/captain/tour guide, Mr. Salt E Dawg drove us around Seattle pointing out neighborhoods, public art a plenty, and more Starbucks than I've ever seen (CHA CHING)!
Then we took to the waters on Lake Union where we were able to see some house boats and boat houses, can't remember the difference.
We also were able to see the boat house from Sleepless in Seattle. Another fun thing about the tour was the music that Capt Dawg played for us. All in all it was a great time! If you are visiting Seattle or live there and never have taken the tour. Please stop by and try it, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy yourself while learning a little something.
