Just not much to say lately....

I know I have been gone for a while, I guess there just has not been much to say. I have been busy though, with the kids getting out of school and what not. Zachary graduated preschool the other night. He sang his little heart out. He is so excited about going to Kindergarten next year. Josh continues to do well at school also, his reading is better and he is becoming a math whiz. We have one more week of school which is a real waste of time because they aren't doing anything but playing games and picnicking all week.

We have great new neighbors now, they moved in about 3 weeks ago. They have two kids, a girl Zach's age who is starting kinder at the same time and a little boy who is 3. Really cute kids and the grown ups aren't too bad either. We had them over for Memorial Day and got to know them a little better.

We have two more weeks until Disney world and now I have the daunting task of packing a weeks worth of clothes plus extras. I absolutely hate packing for anything, I never know what a want to wear day in and day out, how do I know what I want to wear for a week. I am really starting to dread this trip though, but you have to do disney before they get too old, right. Oh well I know the kids will have fun and hopefully they will remember it for a while.

Pamper me thursday

Oh how I love to be pampered, I went in today to get my nails done and to get a Spa Pedicure, which is one of the greatest things invented. Now my feet are truly sandal ready. I also need to go get my massage that I got for Mother's Day maybe that will be my pampering next thursday.

I have so much to do around the house today that I should get my butt out of the chair and off the computer but I can't. There is a saying out there somewhere, " If the house is clean then the computer must be broken" sometimes that applies to me, I can stay on here for hours.

Favorites Tuesday

It is Tuesday again, favorites time.

Ok I did a bad thing to my grass in the front yard a few weeks ago and now my plants have died and now my grass is turning brown so now I am trying to repair it and I found to great site for info on organic fertilizers and gardening:

Hopefully I will get enough knowledge and be able to rejuvenate my lawn.

www.allrecipes.com is becoming a favorite site for new recipes. I usually use Food Network but I am using allrecipes more often. They have better recipes and good tips and advice.

A new favorite show that I have enjoyed for a while is Jon and Kate plus 8. I love this show and really enjoy watching how Jon and Kate deal with the daily life of dealing with 8 kiddos. I get overwhelmed sometimes just with my 2,it makes me get perspective.

I am so an Elinor Dashwood in public, shy and reserved but when you get to know me or I am at home with my family I am more of a Lizzie Bennett I think, very opinionated and self assertive.

I have been hooked on Jane Austen the last couple of days for some reason probably because I have lost my copy of the Pride and Prejudice DVD and It is my favorite movie of all time, it calms me down when I am upset or stressed. I also read her novels when I am in the same condition, they transcend me back to her time.

Ok enough about Jane today lets move on.
